This is a full-time position with a well-established industrial services company based in the Vancouver lower mainland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this position, you will be part of a team of Automation Specialists who program, monitor and support industrial automation solutions for several long-term industrial customers. You will be working directly on several mission-critical systems related to material handling, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, monitoring and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This company has been operating for several decades, and they have long-term relationships with their various customers across Canada and the US. You will be working primarily with companies in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, and this is an on-site position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another significant aspect to this position is the work schedule, and you will be the primary person for the overnight shift of their 24\/7 operations. You will be well-supported by your other colleagues who also provide coverage when you have vacations and absences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This position offers above average compensation, and in addition to statutory overtime allowances, there are also company-provided overtime bonuses. Base compensation is estimated to be in the range of $90,000 to $110,000, plus overtime and shift allowances (depending on daytime or nighttime shifts).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So of experience (preference for Rockwell equipment)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are comfortable in a live industrial\/heavy industry operations environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and confidently, to minimize downtime (software, hardware, database, etc)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You live in the Vancouver area, and you\u2019re comfortable with on-site responsibilities <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both daytime and nighttime shifts are available(generous overtime allowances are provided for nightshifts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<style
